It has come to our attention that a false rumour is circulating that Black Inc. has a policy of excluding Palestinian writers.

This is entirely untrue. For many years, Black Inc., Quarterly Essay and Australian Foreign Affairs have published a great diversity of voices, and has never excluded anyone on the basis of their gender, sexuality, race, religion or nationality. We will always keep to this: it is part of the reason we exist.

As a publisher of quality writing, we welcome book proposals from anyone as per our submission guidelines here.
