Reporting to the PR and Communications Director, this position is suited to an experienced publicist or a publicist with at least 2 years experience, who is a great all-rounder. You will be responsible for developing media and event campaigns for Black Inc.’s frontlist titles. Working in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams, our ideal candidate is a sharp thinker who can juggle a multitude of tasks and consistently achieve strong results. An interest in books and publishing is essential and book industry experience will be viewed favourably. This role is an opportunity to work on a diverse range of titles with some of Australia’s most esteemed non-fiction writers. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience designing successful media and event campaigns, strong copywriting skills and good knowledge of the Australian media landscape.

This is a permanent full-time position, with the option to work out of our office in Collingwood or work remotely interstate.
